There are a few ways to connect your devices to your broadband. Whether you have a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button or not, here’s how to get started:
What is WPS (WiFi Protected Set-up)?
WPS (otherwise known as WiFi Protected Set-up) is a quick way to connect devices without entering a Wi-Fi password manually.
How It Works:
- Push Button Method
- Press the WPS button on your router and your device. They’ll connect automatically. - PIN Code Method
- Enter a PIN from your device into your router settings or vice versa.
Good to Know:
- WPS is simple and fast, but the PIN method may not be as secure. For the best security, use WPA2/WPA3 with a strong password.
